About University of Warwick

The University of Warwick Medical School offers a four-year Graduate Entry Medicine programme (MBChB) — one of the UK's most established and highly-rated pathways for graduates entering medicine. The accelerated programme accepts students from any degree background who demonstrate aptitude and commitment to medicine. Clinical rotations take place at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW, a major teaching hospital), George Eliot Hospital, South Warwickshire Hospital, and numerous GP practices.

Warwick's programme is distinctive for its emphasis on clinical leadership, quality improvement, and health systems science — reflecting the medical school's founding as a postgraduate institution. Research strengths include clinical trials (the Warwick Clinical Trials Unit is nationally significant), metabolic medicine, and health economics. The Warwick campus is one of the UK's most modern, with excellent facilities and a strong student community.

For UK students with completed undergraduate degrees who want an accelerated route into medicine, Warwick offers an excellent programme with strong graduate-level pedagogy and NHS leadership training.
