About Keele University

Keele University School of Medicine is one of the UK's most innovative medical schools, located on a 600-acre campus in Staffordshire — one of the largest in England. The five-year MBChB programme trains students at the Royal Stoke University Hospital (University Hospitals of North Midlands), County Hospital Stafford, and community placements across Staffordshire and Shropshire. Keele's medical programme is notable for its distinctive Problem-Based Learning approach, interprofessional education with other health faculties, and strong primary care research.

The Research Institute for Primary Care and Health Sciences is one of the UK's largest, and the Keele Clinical Trials Unit conducts nationally significant musculoskeletal research (the school is global leader in osteoarthritis and back pain evidence). The campus setting is uniquely rural for a medical school, offering green space and community atmosphere. For UK students, Keele offers a well-regarded PBL-based medical education with nationally leading primary care and musculoskeletal research in an affordable, community-oriented setting.
